So I know what you’re thinking,
she’s going to tell us that this is just the best straightening iron ever and
we have to have it!! Well, guess
what??? You’re absolutely right!!! For
those of you who have known me for a long time, you’ll know that I was born with
thick, curly sometimes unmanageable hair.
And for those of you who’ve only known me for a short time you’re maybe
thinking I would have never guessed and you’d be right cause my hair is always
straight now and I’m here to share my secret.
To understand how good this product is I have to give you a little history. For the first 16 years of my life, I spent the first hour of every day with a hairbrush desperately trying to detangle my crazy curly hair. It was a painful and time-consuming process so I decided it was time for a change. So I took the decision to chemically straighten my hair. This worked great!! I absolutely loved my hair every time, but I’m sure my curly hair sisters could relate, I was so concerned about that chemical process and what it was doing to my hair and my body since if it even got on my skin just a little, by accident, I would end up with a sore blister. So I thought well that’s the end of that I guess it’s back to the good old days of one hour every day combing out my hair. However, this fortunately was not the case.
My aunt, gifted me with this BabylissPro flat iron and without any chemicals, I can have beautiful straight hair without having to worry about damage. It has an adjustable temperature setting so it doesn’t burn your hair and yes it lasts for longer than just one day, does not dry out your hair or cause split ends. I’ve been using it for years now and love it so much. It's so ironic that I came across this. I too have had that curly hair struggle for years and finally after much contemplation I am going to go straight. I did have concern but after reading this, I think you've affirmed my decision for change and I can spend less time detangling. Thanks for sharing your experience.
